Jenna Scale – Beaver Leader

I have lots of experience of being a ‘Scouting parent’ as my eldest son has been through Beavers, Cubs and Scouts and is now in Explorers but I couldn’t help out regularly until my youngest son started Beavers in February 2023. When the longstanding Beaver leaders decided to step down in June 2023 Lynne Shrubb and I got together to create a new leadership team and have been running the section ever since.

I am a qualified first aider and have done all of the leadership training. I really enjoy being a Beaver leader! Every week the children get to try or learn something new and we try to make it as fun as possible! It is very rewarding seeing how hard they work to achieve their badges and how proud they are when we award them.
