1st Winchcombe Scout hut is situated on the outskirts of Winchcombe, an attractive Cotswold market Town with a long history, 7 miles from Cheltenham.

Our HQ was built in the early 1980’s and has recently been refurbished with a new kitchen, toilets and shower, heating and double glazing and secure doors. The HQ comfortably houses 25-30 scouts in the main hall with an additional small break out room . At the rear of the building, we have an activity area that has room for 6, 4man tents with electric hook up and a jetty that overlooks the river Isbourne. Access to the Cotswold Way, Sudeley Castle and other local places of interests are all on our doorstep.

Hire of the hall is £10 per hour, which should include the time taken for setting up and clearing away after use. Special rates are available for scout groups and registered charities. Once you have agreed a date, time and fee, we will issue you the Booking Form and the Terms and Conditions of Use.

In completing the booking by submitting the Booking Form and paying the relevant hire fee, you become “the hirer” and accept personal responsibility for complying with the Winchcombe Scout Hut Terms and Conditions. This responsibility cannot be assigned or delegated to anyone else and sub-letting is not allowed. Hirers must be aged 18 or over.

Bouncy castles are permitted subject to the hirer having their own public liability insurance.

Out of consideration for neighbours, loud music should not be played so it can be heard outside the building after 10pm.

The hut is considered unsuitable for teenagers’ parties, 18th, 21st or Halloween parties and these bookings will not normally be permitted.
